Does my blog look better now?

Hello All!

I say all when I'm sure only the two people required to look at my blog will put in the time to do so, but thank you none the less. I am using some ideas from the lecture on Wednesday to tweak my blog ever so slightly. First of all I changed my settings, so the average person can view my blog from their cellular phone. Yes, that is right, now you can access my blog anywhere, and at anytime! I'm sure everyone is over-joyed. Next I decided to adjust my widths to my blog, so it wouldn't look so crammed together and they would have Repetition by both sides being the same margins while keeping Alignment. I thought I needed to deal with the Proximity of the different paragraphs around my blog to bring a more spacious mood so I also changed my blog description, added it to my first post since I felt it directly pertained to it, and supported the content I was writing about. Now my blog description is more direct and concise.  Finally I adjusted my different title sizes, so they would stand out and bring more Contrast. Hopefully, now their will be a noticeable difference between the different texts.

Realizing I wanted a Technical Communication degree

I am an extroverted individual who has always been in organizations that put me in front of a crowd. In high school I volunteered for an organization called the National Hispanic Institute. I went to nationals for extemporaneous speaking in their Youth Leadership Conference my freshmen year, and proceeded onto the NHI staff throughout high school. I always enjoyed teaching others how to feel comfortable while speaking in front of an audience, so when I graduated from high school I wanted to pursue a communication degree. I moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio.
When I decided to come to the University of Texas at San Antonio I learned that when it came to degree options in communication they have several disciplines I could major in. I can specialize in broad or narrow communication topics; such as, Social Interaction, Public Relations, and Technical Communication. Getting a degree in the field of communication takes effort and dedication, but once the degree has been earned I know I can pursue a job in almost any type of business. Originally, I wanted to obtain a Public Relations degree. As I took an introductory course, Foundations of Communication, for my major I researched Public Relations specialist jobs, and found that the ratio of incoming PR graduates to available jobs was drastic. In my classes here I also learned that technical communication skills is where the jobs are.
